Make a deposit

In some cases, a deposit is required to confirm your place upon receiving an admission offer. This applies to international students admitted to an undergraduate program at UdeM, as well as to applicants from Quebec and Canada admitted to certain limited-capacity undergraduate programs.

Note that you will not have to pay the deposit again if you are admitted to another program for the same session of admission.

International students

If you are an international student and have been admitted to an undergraduate program at UdeM, you will need to pay a deposit of CAD $1,000 to secure your place in the program. This amount is payable upon acceptance of your admission offer and will be deducted from your tuition fees for the first session.

Payment deadlines according to your start term:

  • For Fall admission: April 1, or within 10 business days if you receive your admission after March 20

Please note that the deposit must be paid before you can proceed with course registration within the designated deadlines. You can track and pay your deposit through your Centre étudiant (Student Centre).
