Make a deposit

In some cases, a deposit is required to confirm your place upon receiving an admission offer. This applies to international students admitted to an undergraduate program at UdeM, as well as to applicants from Quebec and Canada admitted to certain limited-capacity programs.

Securing your place with a deposit

If you are an international student or applying to a program with limited enrollment capacity, you will need to pay a deposit after accepting your offer of admission. This amount will be deducted from your tuition fees for the first session.

Please note that the deposit must be paid before you can proceed with course registration within the designated deadlines.

You can track and pay your deposit through your Centre étudiant (Student Centre).

If you are an international student and have been admitted to an undergraduate program at UdeM, you will need to pay a deposit of CAD $1,000 to secure your place in the program.

Note that you will not have to pay the deposit again if you are admitted to another program for the same session of admission. If you are admitted to an undergraduate program with limited enrollment capacity, only the $1,000 deposit will be required.

Payment deadlines according to your start term:

  • For Fall 2025 admission: April 1, or within 10 business days if you receive your admission after March 20
  • For Winter 2026 admission: September 1, or within 10 business days if you receive your admission after August 18
  • For Summer 2026 admission: January 1, or within 10 business days if you receive your admission after December 18
