The objective of the PhD in music is to advance knowledge in the discipline and provide you with opportunities to engage in contemporary scientific and musicological debate. Analysis of creative processes in music
Research-creation (performance, improvisation, composition), as well as any interdisciplinary approach that intersects these disciplines, and other related disciplines (visual arts, cinema, literature, political science, sociology, psychology, computer science, movement science, etc.)
The program covers various musical repertoires (Western art and popular music, world music, film and video game music). Possible program research areas include analyzing these artistic areas, their creative and transmission processes, as well as the associated overall supporting ecosystem.
