This program trains independent researchers able to carry out original research and make a significant contribution to a field of study in physiology, such as cellular physiology and membrane transport, or the physiology of the cardiovascular, respiratory, renal, digestive and endocrine systems. During the program, you will gain in-depth knowledge of your field of specialization and related fields, conduct an original research project, and develop oral and written communication skills.

The thesis topic must focus on the molecular, cellular or integrative mechanisms of cardiovascular function, including the hormonal and neuronal mechanisms of cardiovascular regulation in normal and physiopathological conditions.
Select the flexible stream option to focus your research initiatives on the cardiovascular, respiratory, renal, digestive and endocrine systems.
Acquire the in-depth knowledge and resources necessary to develop your creativity through a cutting-edge research project on the structure and role of different membrane proteins in normal and physiopathological conditions.
