French admission test

A minimum knowledge of oral and written French is a prerequisite to undertake studies in French. To be admissible to an undergraduate program, applicants must demonstrate that they satisfy the language requirements specified in each program’s description. The purpose of the French test is to measure the knowledge of oral and written French of applicants whose prior studies did not entirely take place in a French-speaking context. When required and at a suitable time, UdeM notifies applicants that they must take the Test de français international (TFI) and, as needed, any other tests to verify their degree of proficiency in French
