The process at a glance: understanding the steps to admission

Step 1: Exploration

The first step is particularly crucial – determining the field of study that inspires you, to then choose a program. The Compass tool details the tools and activities that are available to help you make the right decisions.

Step 2: Preparing your application

Once you’ve chosen your program, it’s time to prepare your application carefully so that you avoid setbacks along the way. The Compass tool will accompany you in this important step: helping you verify eligibility requirements and deadlines, gather admission and identification documents, among many other things.

Step 3: Submitting your application

Once you have finished preparing your file, submit your application. Compass will explain the steps to take and will present common pitfalls to avoid so that your application is as complete as possible.

Step 4: After submitting your application

Once the application is submitted and paid for, you should track its progress in the Student Center, a transactional site that will be useful to you throughout your university career. Compass’ step 4 will help you better understand the final steps to take before your arrival at UdeM.
