- Jean-François Gagné, Associate Professor and Academic Director of the International Summer Academy
French is a key asset for students interested in international relations. It’s the only the language, besides English, to be spoken on all five continents. That’s why the International Summer Academy is offering dynamic, stimulating French courses for participants to learn or enhance their mastery of the language: several levels are offered to meet everyone's needs, from novice to advanced.
During the program, students can choose between staying in an on-campus student residence or in off-campus accommodation. After classes and on weekends, they will be free to explore the streets of Montreal, named the Best Student City in North America by 2019 QS Best Student Cities! The city, a low-key blend of Paris and New York, is sure to charm one and all with its generous green spaces, inclusive culture and infectious spirit.
